August 22, 2003 - Just arrived in Kalamazoo Michigan – only 2 days.
Was staying in a hotel with family
Was still looking for a place to live
Went to a school nearby just to make an enquiry in the hope of finding a school for Neevetha

It's Friday. We've never been to the school before and didn't know that this school semester starts on Monday until we arrived there.
We found everything was ready and set for the new school semester to start on Monday
Met school headmaster (Gabriel) and secretary. Were very friendly and helpful
Gabriel asked where we are staying and where we intend to stay permanently in the future
We said that we are in a hotel at the moment but plan to stay around the area.
School Headmaster asked whether we want to enroll Neevetha now.
We said yes.
Immediately he got the secretary to organized bus to pick up from the hotel even though the hotel was off the way from the regular school bus route.
Secretary calls the bus drivers and arrange a suitable bus to pick up Neevetha from hotel. Bus is a free service
Gabriel gives us a school tour.
While Gabriel was giving us a school tour – the secretary informs that everything has been arranged - Class teacher (Grade 2) assigned on the spot.
Monday – bus comes to hotel and picks Neevetha up
School arranged everything including all the stationary with her name ready for Neevetha on the first day.
No form was filled. No document was requested and Neevetha was in school on Monday.
